iFitness
iFitness ($1.99) is an iPod app that features a compilation of over 230 exercises that are grouped by body part. Just choose a body part, then choose an exercise and see a picture of an actual person performing the exercise as well as instructions for proper execution of the exercise. Some of the more difficult exercises feature a video demonstration. And you can add your own exercises as well.
You can choose one of twelve exercise routines designed by fitness experts (one of the routines is equipment-free and is perfect for fitness enthusiasts who are traveling), or you can easily design any number of your own customized workouts. Unlike some iPod Touch apps, this app features an easy-to-use interface that lets you log your workouts and a graphing feature allows you to easily see your progress. A stop watch feature lets you time your rest periods between sets, and you can even track your weight, BMI, and body measurements.
