P90X



P90X is a strenuous workout program, available on DVD, that claims it can help you transform your body from flabby to rock hard in 90 days.

90X, or Power 90 Extreme, focuses on getting your entire body fit, and features a mix of strength training and and cardiovascular conditioning using circuits, interval training, and plyometrics combined with yoga moves, core conditioning, and stretches. Bodyweight exercises, such as pull-ups and push-ups, are featured predominantly in the P90X workout.

The program is split into three phases of 30 days each. The program also features a strict nutrition supplementation plan.One of the keys to the success of P90X is "muscle confusion," which is achieved by continually switching up exercises so that the muscles are continually confused/ Muscles never become adapted to the ever changing variety of exercises, thereby eliminating the dreaded "plateau."
